“Riace, Catania, Roma. L’Italia che lotta per accogliere”. Lotta perché il valore dell’accoglienza in questo momento storico è messo in discussione ogni singolo giorno, e il concetto di solidarietà tra i popoli e verso gli ultimi deve fare i conti con correnti politiche, scelte governative, intoppi di qualsivoglia natura.
Rimettere al centro il valore umano come risposta a politiche di odio e discriminazione è l’obiettivo dell’incontro promosso volontariamente dal Festival del Cinema dei Diritti Umani di Napoli con la partecipazione dell’Assessorato alla Cultura del Comune di Napoli.
Sarà anche occasione per discutere e riflettere sui contenuti del Decreto Salvini e del suo impatto sulla società all’indomani dell’approvazione e in attesa della firma del presidente Mattarella, e degli eventuali profili di incostituzionalità dello stesso.
L’appuntamento è per il 5 ottobre 2018 dalle 19.30 a Piazza Forcella in via Vicaria Vecchia a Napoli. Sul tavolo tre case study emblematici dei tempi che corrono: il caso della nave Diciotti a cui è stato negato lo sbarco a Catania, l’evacuazione del centro di accoglienza per sudanesi di Roma, con gli sfrattati accolti in via Scorticabove, l’esperienza di accoglienza nonostante tutto di Riace.
L’incontro è aperto a chiunque voglia partecipare e intervenire. A portare la loro testimonianza ci saranno Abdelfetah Mogamed, scrittore e attivista tra i più ferventi sul caso Diciotti; Adam Bosch, rappresentante del presidio di via Scorticabove; in conferenza Skype interverrà anche il sindaco di Riace Domenico Lucano.
Si discuterà inoltre concretamente dei risvolti legali e giuridici dell’operato del Governo Conte e del Ministro dell’Interno Salvini grazie al contributo di Lorenzo Trucco e Gianfranco Schiavone, rispettivamente presidente e vicepresidente dell’ASGI (Associazione Studi Giuridici sull’Immigrazione). Inoltre, saranno presenti le associazioni napoletane che operano nel sociale, che avranno spazio per commentare e condividere la loro esperienza e le attività messe in campo.
Porterà i saluti istituzionali l’Assessore alla Cultura del Comune di Napoli Nino Daniele, mentre a introdurre e moderare l’incontro saranno Yasmine Accardo e Maurizio Del Bufalo, del Festival del Cinema dei Diritti Umani di Napoli, e il professor Gennaro Avallone dell’Università di Salerno. Ad arricchire ulteriormente la serata di confronto e discussione la proiezione di foto del fotoreporter Cesare Abbate, di cui è anche la foto copertina di questo articolo.
