Si apre giovedì 25 ottobre 2018, e protagoniste saranno tre giovanissime musiciste: il violino solista Daniela Cammarano, salernitana, che si è esibita già in tutto il mondo; il secondo violino Chiara Rollini, appena 18 anni e talento da vendere, attualmente in tour in Cina; sul podio il ritorno di Beatrice Venezi, 28 anni e la più giovane direttrice d’orchestra in carriera internazionale e annoverata da Forbes tra le 100 under 30 emergenti d’Italia. Un segnale importante quello della Nuova Orchestra Scarlatti che presenta al Conservatorio di Napoli il ciclo di concerti d’Autunno 2018. Rimettere al centro la cultura contro lo “spettacolismo” dilagante, rimettere al centro i giovani e la loro educazione musicale è difatti obiettivo dichiarato dell’Orchestra e l’intenzione è ribadita durante la conferenza stampa delle scorse ore da Gaetano Russo, direttore artistico della NOS.

“La cultura – spiega Russo – non è spettacolo. In un’Italia provinciale, lo spettacolo ha preso il sopravvento. Si ascolta musica attraverso gli spettacoli, la cultura è messa da parte. Noi possiamo fare spettacolo attraverso la cultura, ma ci rimpiange che invece qualcuno fa solo spettacolo e vuole farlo passare per cultura. Lo vogliamo fare con rappresentanti che appartengono direttamente o indirettamente a questa città e questo conservatorio”.

Dal tavolo dei relatori, Gaetano Russo rilancia l’idea – e la necessità – di un’Orchestra stabile napoletana. “La NOS in 25 anni ha rappresentato qualcosa che non è avvenuto: dare a Napoli un’Orchestra Sinfonica Stabile. Quando siamo stati a Berlino e a Pechino si stupivano di questa assenza. Chi le paga le conseguenze? I giovani. Molti dei nostri ormai non stanno qui: qualcuno è partito per Tel Aviv, altri per l’Olanda… noi dobbiamo fare in modo che chi vuole può restare qui. Il primo volino della Scarlatti Junior, allieva del Conservatorio, Chiara Rollini, ha 18 anni e sta lavorando. Perché non può essere così anche per altri giovani della rete dei Conservatori? Dobbiamo creare qualcosa noi, partendo da qui.”.

Alla conferenza stampa, oltre al maestro Russo, è presente anche Carmine Santaniello, direttore di recente nomina del Conservatorio di Napoli di San Pietro a Majella. “Con la mia direzione, le porte del Conservatorio sono aperte a tutti coloro vogliono produrre musica e produrla bene. Ma con delle regole. Stiamo cercando di restituire al San Pietro a Majella il posto che merita, vogliamo dare un segnale di apertura ma con garanzie per gli studenti”.

Si aprono quindi le audizioni, per gli studenti del Conservatorio, per entrare nella Nuova Scarlatti, come reale opportunità “per lanciarsi nel mondo del lavoro”. Ed è il segnale più importante di una rinnovata sinergia tra il Conservatorio e la NOS.

Il programma dell’Autunno Musicale

Tornando all’Autunno musicale 2018 della Nuova Scarlatti, giovedì 25 ottobre si parte alla Sala Scarlatti del Conservatorio con un ricco programma di musiche di Schubert (Terza Sinfonia), Šostakovič, Piazzolla, Hindemith e due giovani eccellenze italiane di rilievo internazionale: sul podio della Nuova Scarlatti ancora una volta la ventottenne lucchese Beatrice Venezi, annoverata da Forbes fra i 100 under 30 emergenti d’Italia, e poi, nel ruolo di violino di spalla e di solista, Daniela Cammarano, salernitana di origine, che ha imbracciato il suo strumento a quattro anni ed ha girato l’Italia e il mondo come concertista, camerista e prima parte nelle principali orchestre, dalla Francia all’Argentina, dalla Germania al Giappone, dall’Olanda agli Stati Uniti.

L’Autunno musicale della Nuova Scarlatti proseguirà con una serie di concerti tutti di particolare interesse. Tra questi, due  serate a tema dedicate a due grandi napoletani del ‘900 musicale: il 3 novembre con pagine vocali, cameristiche e orchestrali del compositore Mario Pilati, forse il più europeo dei nostri musicisti, scomparso a soli 35 anni esattamente 80 anni fa, e a dicembre un  omaggio al pianista Sergio Fiorentino, di cui quest’anno ricorrono i 20 anni dalla morte, raffinato signore della tastiera che al suo debutto trionfale alla Carnegie Hall di New York nel 1953 fu paragonato a Rachmaninoff; di lui riscopriremo la straordinaria vena di trascrittore per la tastiera di brani originariamente non destinati al piano (da Bach a Mahler, passando per Schumann, Brahms, Fauré) eseguiti dal pianista partenopeo Mario Coppola, che di Fiorentino è stato allievo. Ancora in cartellone un concerto di musiche del XX e XXI secolo (23 novembre) diretto da Carlo Goldstein, con la partecipazione del grande violista francese Christophe Desjardins e con nuovissime pagine di un compositore tra i più interessanti dell’attuale panorama europeo, l’irpino Gianvincenzo Cresta; il 17 novembre nella cornice ideale della Chiesa di San Marcellino sarà la volta di un prezioso programma di ‘Vespri nella Roma barocca’ con musiche del polifonista seicentesco Virgilio Mazzocchi, a cura dell’ensemble romano Festina Lente diretto da Michele Gasbarro.

Appuntamento conclusivo mercoledì 19 dicembre con un concerto di musiche di Mozart arricchito dalla presenza di due solisti di origine napoletana, il violinista David Romano e il violista Raffaele Mallozzi, membri della prestigiosa Orchestra dell’Accademia di Santa Cecilia, che saranno protagonisti del momento clou del programma, la Sinfonia concertante per violino, viola e orchestra K 364.
