L’estate, si sa, è un periodo drammatico per i nostri amici a 4 zampe: nel 2018 le cose sono un po’ cambiate, ma ancora i nostri cagnolini e gattini soffrono il caldo afoso, vengono abbandonati, non sempre sono ben accetti nelle strutture ricettive per la vacanza estiva e qualche volta rischiano la vita per l’incuria dei loro padroni.

Ed è quello che stava per accadere a questo cane salvato in extremis dagli uomini della Polizia Municipale di Napoli.

Il cucciolo, dolcissimo e festoso, era stato lasciato in auto sotto il sole cocente di Viale Gramsci, nella zona del capoluogo partenopeo a due passi dal lungomare di Mergellina.

Il cane respirava a fatica ed era in condizioni di estrema sofferenza. Lo hanno notato alcuni attenti e sensibili cittadini di passaggio nella zona a due passi dal mare, allertando le autorità competenti.

I soccorsi non sono tardati ad arrivare. Gli agenti dell’unità operativa Chiaia della Polizia Locale napoletana si sono immediatamente recati sul posto. Hanno trovato il cagnolino in auto, sotto il sole cocente delle scorse ore, imprigionato nell’abitacolo con i finestrini completamente chiusi. Secondo quanto comunica l’Ufficio Stampa del Comune di Napoli, era lì da un “notevole lasso di tempo”.

Poco da pensare, bisognava agire immediatamente. Così la Polizia Locale è riuscita a forzare una portiera dell’auto in sosta e a restituire aria – e vita – al cagnolino.

Il cucciolo è stato soccorso da parte di un esperto, che ha riscontrato a causa dell’abbandono notevoli difficoltà respiratorie.

La denuncia per abbandono e maltrattamento

Il proprietario del cane solo dopo svariate ore si è recato agli uffici competenti. L’uomo è stato denunciato per abbandono e maltrattamento di animali ai sensi dell’articolo 727 del Codice di Procedura Penale.
