DIGITA, un’eccellenza napoletana: è già boom di richieste per la seconda edizione

DIGITA, che sta per “Digital Transformation and Industry Innovation Academy”, chiude il suo primo anno di academy con risultati eccellenti: circa 50 giovani al termine del percorso formativo gratuito, messo in piedi dall’Università degli studi di Napoli “Federico II” in sinergia con la Deloitte, già stanno venendo assorbiti nel mondo del lavoro. Con loro porteranno un bagaglio di conoscenze che li rende competenti nel settore della trasformazione digitale e dell’Industria 4.0.

Un’eccellenza napoletana che ha messo le radici nell’hub universitario di San Giovanni a Teduccio, in quella periferia est che forse proprio con il contributo dell’insediamento federiciano sta iniziando quel lento processo di riqualificazione troppo spesso promesso ma mai messo davvero in campo.

Ne abbiamo parlato con Antonio Pescapé, ordinario di Sistemi di Elaborazione delle Informazioni presso il Dipartimento di Ingegneria Elettrica dell’Università Federico II e direttore scientifico della DIGITA Academy.

Professor Pescapé, facciamo così: provi a spiegare a mia nonna cosa è DIGITA.

“DIGITA è una Academy, un percorso di Alta Formazione per laureati (almeno triennali) che dura un intero anno accademico. Un primo semestre di studio in aula con metodologie didattiche innovative (blended learning, challenge based learning, etc). Un secondo semestre nel quale si sviluppano progetti di mercato in collaborazione con le aziende partner utilizzando un modello misto tra open innovation in Academy e lavoro svolto in azienda. Per quello che ne sappiamo, è la prima ed unica Academy in Italia sui temi della Trasformazione Digitale e di Industria 4.0″.

Cosa vuol dire Industria 4.0? In che modo avete dato un valore a questa parola spesso usata a sproposito?

“Abbiamo messo al centro le persone e la loro formazione. Una formazione non solo tecnologica. Una formazione che ha riguardato aspetti economici, giuridici, etici, e legati alle tecnologie sia dell’informazione sia industriali. Ed abbiamo messo al centro le infrastrutture costruendo nel Polo di San Giovanni a Teduccio un vero ecosistema dell’innovazione 4.0 fatto di corsi di laurea, academy, hub di banche, laboratori, aziende”.

C’è un digital divide anche tra gli esperti e gli studiosi del settore digitale, informatizzazione, tecnologia?

“Assolutamente sì. Il tema è che la quarta rivoluzione è caratterizzata da tempi strettissimi. Oggi studiamo e lavoriamo su tecnologie e modelli di business che cinque anni fa non esistevano”.

Quale futuro per gli allievi dell’Academy di quest’anno e quale per Digita stessa?

“L’Academy è già al lavoro per il secondo anno accademico. Abbiamo già parto il bando per la selezione dei nuovi 50, qui ci sono tutte le informazioni http://www.digita.unina.it/it/progetto-digita-2018/ e qui è possibile presentare la domanda http://www.digita.unina.it/it/selezioni-digita-2018/. Abbiamo aperto il bando solo venerdì scorso durante la cerimonia di chiusura del primo anno e già abbiamo un numero incredibile di candidature. E questo, e rispondo all’altro pezzo della domanda, è anche legato al fatto che per i ragazzi di quest’anno l’esperienza è stata assolutamente positiva e per quasi tutti già oggi è arrivata una offerta di lavoro di rilievo nell’ambito della Digital Transformation“.

Cosa è voluto dire per voi lavorare in un territorio come quello di San Giovanni e che indotto iniziative come questa generano per l’area est?

“Personalmente e professionalmente molto stimolante. L’area è un’area difficile, che viene da anni di difficoltà anche a causa di una crisi economica legata al cambiamento e alla chiusura delle attività industriali che interessavano l’area est di Napoli. Il quartiere è entusiasta del Campus, le attività commerciali nate intorno al Campus sono tante, la presenza degli studenti e dei ragazzi delle Academy sta dando un volto nuovo e nuova vita all’intera zona. Non basta ovviamente, ma è sulla formazione e sull’innovazione che si deve puntare. Ora è importante che anche altri soggetti, oltre all’Università, facciano la loro parte per rendere la trasformazione dell’area est qualcosa di strutturale“.

La sinergia università-azienda funziona solo nei settori legati alla tecnologia o il modello DIGITA si può estendere anche ad altri campi a suo parere?

“Funziona anche altrove. E funzione ovunque ci sia un rapporto chiaro tra aziende e università. Con mutui benefici e con benefici per l’indotto e per il territorio”.
