La rassegna di teatro per le nuove generazioni Young, ideata e realizzata da Casa del Contemporaneo in collaborazione con le Nuvole per la cura artistica di Morena Pauro, è giunta alla 34° edizione e debutta in Sala Assoli a Napoli mercoledì 30 e giovedì 31 ottobre 2019 inoccasione della festa di Halloween con la doppia replica alle ore 15 e alle ore 18 dello spettacolo IL PRINCIPE MEZZANOTTE, scritto e diretto da Alessandro Serra premio Ubu 2017 per “Macbettu”, qui alla sua prima regia per l’infanzia. Prosa, teatro corporeo, teatro d’immagine e d’ombre per un pubblico di bambini, dai 5 anni, e adulti che non avranno paura a entrare nell’oscuro mondo di Mezzanotte.
Lo spettacolo è un carosello di personaggi buffi e grotteschi che ci accompagneranno nel mondo di una fiaba delicata e romantica raccontata con uno stile che ricorda le atmosfere insolitamente noir, misteriose e poetiche di Tim Burton. Mezzanotte è un principe perdutamente innamorato del buio e delle stelle, perché è proprio di notte che prendono vita i sogni… anche se alcuni possono trasformarsi in incubi. E così accade a Mezzanotte, costretto a nascondersi in un magico comò per sfuggire alla maledizione della terribile strega Valeriana, che lo ha condannato a essere trasformato in un essere mostruoso il giorno in cui si innamori. La notte e il buio non devono far paura perché è proprio di notte che si possono vedere cose meravigliose come le stelle, i fuochi di artificio, la luna e soprattutto…i sogni! E già, perché il Principe Mezzanotte abituato a stare sempre da solo è proprio nei sogni che rifugia i propri desideri d’amore. Ed è in sogno che prende vita la sua principessa ideale.
Miglior Spettacolo Osservatorio Critico degli Studenti “per la scenografia efficace e piena d’inventiva, l’originalità del testo e la capacità di coinvolgimento del pubblico”, lo spettacolo è stato finalista Premio Scenario Infanzia 2008 e sarà presentato anche alle scuole dell’infanzia e primaria nelle matinèe delle ore 10 sempre nelle giornate del 30 e 31 ottobre 2019.
Si proseguirà in Sala Assoli con altri 5 titoli dedicati ai bambini e ragazzi fino alla primavera 2020: “L’Arcobaleno Di Bianca” il 1 e il 2 dicembre, “Il Fiore Azzurro” il 15 gennaio, “Thioro un Cappuccetto Rosso Senegalese” il 16 e il 17 febbraio, “Amore e Psiche” il 19 febbraio e, dulcis in fundo, “Zanna Bianca”il 12 marzo.
Il progetto Young rivolto alle nuove generazioni ha un respiro più ampio includendo complessivamente 29 titoli programmati a Napoli anche presso il Teatro dei Piccoli di Napoli, Parco della Mostra d’Oltremare, dove è nato e da quest’anno – come per l’intera proposta artistica di Casa del Contemporaneo – anche al Teatro Ghirelli a Salerno e Teatro Karol a Castellammare di Stabia. Una programmazione dunque che si divide – ma al tempo stesso diventa un tutt’uno – in 4 rassegne ricche di spettacoli teatrali che si presentano al pubblico in una vasta contaminazione e sovrapposizione di linguaggi e tematiche.
“Drammaturgie che accompagnano la delicata fase del crescere – scrive Morena Pauro, curatrice artistica Young – Obiettivo è quello di stimolare attraverso una proposta leggera, ludica e spesso anche ironica, la formazione di una platea critica che si interroga, a volte si scontra, ma in ogni caso discute dei grandi temi sociali ed etici rivolgendosi al mondo della scuola, della famiglia, ad ogni ambiente sociale”.
Teatro di parola, danza, immagine, teatro in lingua inglese e spagnola, forme tecnologiche e innovative sono lo straordinario patrimonio di mezzi e linguaggi per raccontare una realtà che si modifica e si evolve oggi a velocità sostenuta.
Tantissime possibilità inoltre per la formazione e l’aggiornamento dei docenti a cui possono partecipare anche educatori e genitori [Le Nuvole è Ente riconosciuto dal Miur per le attività di formazione – Direttiva Ministeriale 170/2016] da Teatro Scuola Vedere Fare, percorso dedicato alle scuole elementari e medie, in collaborazione con Agita Teatro, in cui le classi producono uno spettacolo teatrale, raccontando e raccontandosi, con l’ausilio di un tutor e frequentando con continuità gli appuntamenti della stagione; a Didattica della Visione, in collaborazione con Casa dello Spettatore, un progetto dedicato alla decodifica del linguaggio e delle tecniche comunicative del teatro; a Lettura e Fotografia, incontri di formazione per costruire storie con le immagini a cura di Pino Miraglia e Esplorazioni al Maggio all’infanzia, in collaborazione con Teatri di Bari, il Festival interregionale di teatro ragazzi divenuto terreno utile a stimolare il dialogo e a sviluppare una sinergia fra la scuola e il teatro intorno alla visione di uno e più spettacoli.
