Il Premio della Solidarietà 2019 , un riconoscimento per le personalità che si sono distinte per aver messo in pratica il comandamento dell’amore verso il prossimo, sarà assegnato, venerdi’ 31 Maggio ore 17,30 presso la Chiesa della SS Trinita’ di Via Portamedina, 41 a Napoli, nell’ambito dell’incontro “Verso la Carità politica. La solidarietà nel tempo di Papa Francesco”. Il tema sarà trattato dal Presidente emerito della Corte Costituzionale Francesco Paolo Casavola, modera il giornalista Massimo Milone direttore di Rai Vaticano, introduce il Primicerio dell’Arciconfraternita Vincenzo Galgano, già Procuratore Generale della Repubblica di Napoli, presiede S. Em.za Rev.ma Cardinale Crescenzio Sepe Arcivescovo Metropolita di Napoli. Parteciperanno alla manifestazione il ministro dell’Ambiente Sergio Costa, il Presidente della Corte Costituzionale Giorgio Lattanzi, esponenti della magistratura cittadina, dell’associazionismo, della società civile e autorità civili e militari.

La giuria, presieduta da Don Tonino Palmese, Vicario Episcopale Carità e Giustizia, Preposto (assistente spirituale) dell’Arciconfraternita’ dei Pellegrini ha premiato il Presidente della “Fondazione con il Sud” Carlo Borgomeo, “per la passione e la creatività con le quali ha dato vita a forme innovative di sostegno e accompagnamento alla crescita civile e umana delle comunità locali nel meridione di Italia”; la Presidente della “Fondazione Grimaldi Onlus” Donna Paola Arcidiacono Grimaldi “per la straordinaria capacità di tradurre la personale sensibilità verso le necessità dei piccoli e dei poveri di ogni paese e cultura in gesti ed azioni di concreta ed efficace solidarietà”; il Presidente dell’ ”Associazione L’Altra Napoli Onlus” Ernesto Albanese, “perché testimonia con la sua vita che la luce dell’amore e della compassione può raggiungere i luoghi più bui della città di Napoli e sconfiggere ogni forma di violenza”.

L’Arciconfraternita, che promuove e sostiene numerose attività di sostegno rivolte ai minori, ai malati e alle famiglie, ha promosso nell’ultimo anno, il 440° dalla sua fondazione, un fitto calendario di incontri culturali dedicati a temi etici e sociali di grande attualità.

L’iniziativa si concluderà con il concerto dell’orchestra Scarlatti Junior diretta dal maestro Gaetano Russo che eseguirà, musiche di A. Scarlatti, J. Sibelius, D. Sostakovic, F. Kreisler, G. Bizet, E. Morricone, J. Strauss jr.
