Quattro liste, 84 candidati, un solo obiettivo, portare alla vittoria, alle prossime elezioni amministrative del 14/15 maggio 2023, il candidato a sindaco del Centrodestra Giuseppe Martusciello. Presso la Fattorie Albatros di Quarto conferenza stampa di presentazione del programma e delle liste a cui hanno preso parte gli onorevoli Fulvio Martusciello, Annarita Patriarca, Carmela Rescigno, Michele Schiano, Marco Nonno e Silvestro Francesco che hanno garantito il loro apporto e dei partiti che rappresentano alla “battaglia” elettorale di Giuseppe Martusciello, unico candidato del Centrodestra a poter contare su una coalizione unita e compatta (Forza Italia, Lega, Fratelli d’Italia e la lista civica Movimento Flegreo). Il candidato a sindaco nel suo discorso ha puntato l’attenzione su come “le trasformazioni e l’incremento degli ultimi 20 anni della popolazione sul territorio quartese non hanno visto la medesima crescita in termini di servizi, vivibilità e sicurezza provocando una situazione di arretramento, disservizio ed in talune circostanze di degrado e abbandono sempre più evidente; ciò detto è indispensabile operare una netta inversione di marcia per riportare un equilibrio tra le varie componenti della società (servizi, imprenditoria, terzo settore, viabilità, sicurezza, edilizia scolastica, ambiente, animali e verde pubblico, sanità, sburocratizzazione e trasparenza, cultura, archeologia e sport)”. Martusciello ha poi affermato che non si può prescindere da una ripresa economica forte e che possa contare sui fondi del PNRR. “Viviamo un periodo storico delicato dove le dinamiche nazionali ed europee hanno dovuto far fronte ad una crisi socioeconomica post-covid, elaborando un progetto (PNRR) a sostegno delle pubbliche amministrazioni. I fondi del Piano Nazionale di Ripartenza e Resilienza, potranno, consentire di intervenire sulle medie-grandi progettualità per rimuovere le criticità che tuttora caratterizzano il nostro Paese”. Passaggio fondamentale quello riguardante la sicurezza. Quarto negli ultimi mesi è stata investita da un’ondata criminale seria e che ha bisogno di una azione repressiva immediata. Troppi i commercianti, le famiglie e i giovani che sono stati vittime, loro malgrado, di atti criminali. “L’amministrazione dovrà essere sempre in prima linea contro ogni forma di criminalità e irregolarità. Grazie all’impegno delle forze dell’ordine sono state smantellate diverse roccaforti e punti di spaccio presenti nei nostri quartieri. In questo modo, si raggiungerà una cultura della legalità diffusa che fan ben sperare per lo sviluppo della nostra città. In questo senso, l’aumento del numero degli agenti di Polizia municipale è fondamentale, per conseguire un controllo capillare in tutte le ore del giorno e della notte.L’attività della Polizia Municipale dovrà, tuttavia, essere contraddistinta sempre più da una forma di prevenzione ed educazione del cittadino, con cui porsi in ottica collaborativa, in questo senso sarà fondamentale la collaborazione con gli istituti scolastici territoriali. Bisognerà aumentare l’istallazione delle telecamere per rendere la nostra città più sicura del passato. Anche tale processo va completato: andranno proseguite le richieste di finanziamento per implementare la videosorveglianza nelle zone periferiche. Obiettivo cardine è quello di istituire sul territorio nuovo presidi di legalità”. Per coinvolgere la popolazione sul tema sicurezza, il prossimo 5 maggio 2023, è stato organizzato in Piazzale Europa alle ore 20.30 una “Fiaccolata della Legalità”, un sit-in sicurezza per dire “Basta!” a questa escalation criminale e per dare un segno tangibile di vicinanza a famiglie, imprenditori e commercianti.
