Il Canto di Natale dell’Istituto Oasi

In Italia siamo consapevoli che le nostre feste sono un ottimo strumento didattico con obiettivi formativi che espongono gli studenti alla conoscenza del nostro patrimonio culturale,  festeggiamenti fanno conoscere le tradizioni italiane e aiutano gli studenti a riflettere sulle differenze/similarità tra la cultura italiana e quella straniera, a migliorare le competenze cognitive e la riflessione critica, e a socializzare e cooperare in gruppo. Ogni festa viene accompagnata anche dai suoi cibi, e in Italia la gastronomia legata alle feste è particolarmente ricca, e varia da regione a regione. Nelle scuole è importante insegnare a rispettare la diversità, ogni cultura ha i suoi valori, i suoi costumi e le sue feste.

A Christmas Carol: A Goblin Story of Some Bells that Rang an Old Year Out and a New Year In è il titolo originale del Il Canto di Natale di Charles Dickens, una delle sue opere più famose e popolari, ripresa intelligentemente dalla Prof.ssa Carolina Amato Dirigente  dell’Istituto Parificato L’Oasi – San Giorgio di Quarto, Napoli – 21/22 dicembre –  per riscoprire con gli studenti e le loro famiglie i valori del Natale, una critica puntuale e pungente alla società, e anche una delle più famose e commoventi storie di Natale nel mondo. Sono passati 74 anni dalla prima pubblicazione, ma il Canto di Natale di Dickens è sempre attuale riproposto a scopo didattico anche per chi non ha capito il vero senso della vita e, di conseguenza, il senso autentico del Natale.

Il Natale celebra la sacralità della famiglia, che deve essere il centro vitale della società, la “celebrazione” di un’attesa ben più ampia, della speranza che consola il dolore e le angosce di tanti uomini e donne, la speranza di una vita fatta di relazioni autentiche e di rispetto dell’altro, una vita ricca di senso, capace di esprimere in gesti e parole la bellezza e la luce, l’eco della luce della stella di Betlemme e che deve brillare anche oggi in ogni luogo del mondo sconvolto dal dolore e dalle ingiustizie.
