  • Principio attivo: al di sopra dei 25 gradi alcune volte l’efficacia dello stesso può essere neutralizzata. Occhio sempre a dove tenete i medicinali, cercate di farli riposare al fresco.
  • Non solo medicina: a subire il caldo che ne compromette l’efficacia e la salubrità ci sono anche soluzioni liquide, creme, finanche i solari.
  • Unguenti: il calore li altera, il rischio è la comparsa di macchie sulla pelle.
  • Occhio ai fotosensibilizzanti: prima di stendersi e prendere il sole, evitate accuratamente dove possibile prodotti come gli antistaminici, antibiotici, sulfamidici. Stesso discorso vale per le pillole anticoncezionali, gli antinfiammatori non steroidei e anche le pomate contro i dolori, quelle a base di ketoprofene (anche per i cerotti che svolgono la stessa funzione vale lo stesso discorso).
  • Colliri: mai lasciarli in borsa. Se possibile, conservate anche la custodia: il cartone e l’alluminio li riparano ancora di più dal dannoso effetto di sole e calore.
  • Seguire le regole di conservazione fin dal momento dell’acquisto.
  • Non solo il caldo: bisogna tenere presente che anche l’umidità e la luce influiscono sulla tenuta del medicinale. Durante i trasporti è sempre buona norma lasciarli nell’abitacolo dell’auto solo se con l’aria condizionata accesa, o in alternativa nei bagagliai sull’auto che sono soggetti al vento diretto.
